  1. Free Standard Shipping (U.S. Only)

We are pleased to offer Free Standard Shipping for all orders delivered within the contiguous United States.

• Scope of Waiver: This free shipping policy applies strictly to the initial base transportation cost from our shipping origin (U.S. warehouse or China production facility) to your designated delivery address.

• Exclusions: This waiver does not cover expedited shipping, specialized handling, or any additional fees imposed by local authorities.

• Return Deduction: In the event of any authorized return or cancellation, the actual outbound shipping cost (initially waived) will be deducted from the total refund amount to cover our primary logistics expenditure.

  1. Fulfillment Methods

Astorare utilizes a strategic fulfillment model based on inventory location:

• In-Stock Items: Dispatched via domestic freight or courier services from our third-party warehouses within the United States.

• Made-to-Order (MTO) Items: Produced upon order and shipped directly from our facilities in China via professional ocean freight. Shipping timelines for MTO items are estimates only; we are not liable for delays caused by international logistics, port congestion, or customs inspections, or Force Majeure events.

  1. Delivery Scope: Strictly “Curbside Delivery”

All furniture deliveries are strictly “Curbside Delivery” only.

Definition: The carrier will drop the shipment at the curb or the end of your driveway.

No Guarantee of Premium Services: We do not guarantee, nor are we liable for, “Front Door,” “Inside Room,” or “White-Glove” services.

Additional Fees: Any additional fees for specialized handling requested by the customer at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Injury Disclaimer: The Customer assumes all physical risk, injury liability, and property damage risks during the transition of the product from the curb to the final indoor location.

  1. Risk of Loss and Title

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, international shipments are made on a Delivered at Place (DAP) basis.

Transfer of Risk: Risk of loss and title for all items pass to you upon delivery to the address specified in the order.

Clearance Obligation: Once the shipment reaches the destination country’s customs, any loss or damage arising from the Customer’s failure to provide necessary information or pay taxes shall be the Customer’s sole risk.

  1. Mandatory Inspection (The “48-Hour Rule”)

To maintain eligibility for transit damage claims, you must adhere to the following:

Immediate Notation: You MUST inspect all packages at the time of delivery and write “DAMAGED” on the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL) if any visible damage to the packaging or product exists.

48-Hour Reporting: You must report any concealed damage or manufacturing defects to service@astorare.com with photographic evidence within 48 hours of receipt.

Consequence: Failure to comply with these requirements shall constitute final acceptance of the product in good condition and will void any claims for transit damage.

  1. Duties, Taxes, and Import Charges

For products shipped directly from China, you are the “Importer of Record”.

Sole Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and local fees assessed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection or local authorities.

Consequences of Refusal: If you refuse to pay the required duties or taxes, resulting in the shipment being held, returned, or destroyed, our obligation to deliver the product shall be deemed fulfilled and terminated. All payments shall be strictly non-refundable as Liquidated Damages to offset international freight, storage, and administrative costs. We reserve the right to pursue the Customer for additional costs, including storage, return freight, and disposal fees.

  1. Failed Delivery & Additional Costs

Any additional fees, penalties, or storage charges resulting from the following shall be borne solely by the Customer:

• Incorrect Information: Providing inaccurate or incomplete shipping addresses or contact details.

• Refusal of Payment: The Customer’s refusal to pay applicable import duties, sales taxes, or customs fees.

• Failed Delivery Attempts: Inability of the carrier to complete delivery after multiple attempts or failure of the Customer to coordinate with the carrier.
